ABOUT THE SAFE PLACE
The mission of the Safe Place is to provide a free, confidential, and visible support for people harmed by sexual assault, intimate partner violence and stalking.
We are here to support you no matter your gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity,
ability, and socioeconomic standing. We meet people with belief and empathy and are
client led in our services.
What can Safe Place do for You?
Advocacy Services
- Emotional support
- Developing healthy relationships
- Case management services & referrals
- Coping strategies
- Assistance with navigating the legal system.
- Support in a crisis
- The Safe Place Advocate can accompany survivors throughout the process of Title IX and Campus Police investigations.
Educational Programming & Outreach
- Provide outreach activities to students, staff, and faculty on campus.
- Deliver classroom presentations on healthy relationships and affirmative consent. If you are a faculty member and are interested in having Safe Place, please email safeplace@mblayst.com
